Description: This class introduces students to what makes Political Science unique: the study of power. Power operates in the institutions of government and society. This class also introduces students to the major subfields of the discipline of Political Science: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory, and Public Policy & Public Administration. The course is designed as a general education social science course for non-majors and majors alike to help students understand how to study politics, analyze public policy, and contribute to political decision-making at the local, state, national, and international levels.
