Description: This course will explore the principles of insurance. It will include an analysis of risk and strategies to eliminate, minimize or transfer risk. Students will become familiar with the key components of life, accident and health insurance policies as well as property and casualty insurance.
Notes: Offered in spring and fall.
Prerequisites: FINC 311 with a grade of C- or better. All FINC courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102.
