BIOL 405 - Freshwater Ecology (4:3:3).
Description: A study of the structural and functional attributes of common freshwater habitats of South Carolina, including interactions at population, community, and ecosystem scales. Prerequisite: BIOL 203, 204, 205, and 206, OR BIOL 220, 221, 222 or 270, and 223 or 271; BIOL 300; CHEM 105 and 108; MATH 101, 150, or 151 or any MATH course with a MATH 150 or 151 prerequisite; students must have a minimum grade of C- or S in all of the listed BIOL courses taken and in CHEM 105 and 108. Notes: Offered in fall. Lab Fee: $55.
