Description: An undergraduate seminar course in which a book or series of research papers will be read and discussed with reference to important current issues in biology.
Notes: A grade of S or U is recorded. May be retaken for credit a maximum of three times when different topics and reading materials are taught. Offered as needed.
Prerequisites: BIOL 203, 204, 205, and 206, OR BIOL 220, 221, 222 or 270, and 223 or 271; BIOL 300; CHEM 105 and 108; MATH 101, 150, or 151 or any MATH course with a MATH 150 or 151 prerequisite; students must have a minimum grade of C- or S in all of the listed BIOL courses taken and in CHEM 105 and 108.
