WMST 540 - Environmental Justice (3).
Description: A study of humans' relationship to the environment in the past, present, and future. This course explores the biological and cultural adaptations that have allowed humans to occupy a wide range of diverse habitats. This course explores the relationship between gender roles and societies’ subsistence and economic patterns and how these have varied over time. Prerequisites: ANTH 201 or ANTH 202; or BIOL 203/204; or WMST 300; or permission of the instructor. Notes: Cross-listed as ANTH 540 and BIOL 540. Offered in fall of even years.
