Description: Provides on-the-job training in a gerontological field related to a student minor or career interest.
Prerequisite: Overall GPA 2.5 and minimum of 24 earned semester hours. An Internship Learning Contract (distributed by the Center for Career and Civic Engagement) must be approved by the Program Director of Gerontology and submitted to Career & Civic Engagement prior to enrollment.
Notes: For Gerontology minors only. Courses may be repeated for credit; however, a maximum of 3 hours may be applied toward the Gerontology minor. A grade of S or U is recorded. Offered variable times.
