EDCO 220 - Assessment to Meet Diverse Needs (2). |
Description: Course explores various classroom assessment techniques and appropriate use to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Using the environment of a partner school, skills in data-based decision-making will be identified and utilized by course participants. Principles of Universal Design for Learning will be applied to the design and implementation of assessment associated with lessons written by classroom teachers.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in EDCO 200.
Notes: A grade of C or better is required for Teacher Education majors/minors. This course cannot be taken for S/U credit. Offered in fall, spring, and summer. Course was formerly offered as EDUC 220.
