CSCI 311 - Computer Architecture and Organization (4:3:2).
Description: An introduction to the concepts and methods of constructing the hardware and software of a computer system. The course emphasizes the study of the digital logic components, the microprogramming language that supports a machine language, and exposure to advanced computer architectures. Prerequisites: A grade of C- or better in CSCI 208; and grade of C- or better in MATH 261. Notes: Offered in Fall. Lab fee: $25.
