ARTS 455 - Jewelry and Metals III (3:7).
Description: Improves and expands knowledge and skill in metalsmithing and jewelry design. Guidance toward developing a personal direction of creative expression, artistic aesthetic, and art philosophy. Focusing on additional experience in manipulative techniques, complex construction, surface decoration, and mechanisms. Notes: Lab Fee: $100. Offered in fall and spring. Prerequisites: ARTS 356. All ARTS (3:7) numbered above 375 have a prerequisite of junior status and the successful completion of the specialization portfolio review or permission of the Chair of the Department of Fine Arts.
