ACCT 515 - Advanced Data Analytics for Accounting (3). |
Description: This course focuses on techniques used to analyze accounting data, address accounting-related problems using statistical methods, draw conclusions, and communicate the results of the analysis in an accessible way to varied decision makers. The course provides a hands-on introduction to several software tools that are used for data analysis by accounting professionals.
Prerequisite: ACCT 281 and QMTH 210 or QMTH 680. All ACCT courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102; or graduate status.
