FINC 311 - Principles of Finance (3). |
Description: A survey course examining the fundamentals of financial decision making. Topics covered include: goals of the firm, financial ratios, time value of money, loan amortization, bond and stock pricing, risk and return, capital budgeting, and cost of capital.
Prerequisites: C- or better in ACCT 280 and QMTH 205. All FINC courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102.
Notes: Offered fall, spring, and summer.
