Description: This course explores the history of medieval Europe, taking a broad geographic perspective of Europe as part of a larger northern Mediterranean community that includes Iberia (modern day Spain), Byzantium, Italy, the Holy Roman Empire (Germany and modern eastern European states), as well as France and England.
Prerequisite: Prerequisite for all 300 and 500 level courses in History: Sophomore status or permission of the Department Chair.
