ECED 631 - Home-School-Community Partnerships (3).
Description: This course is designed to prepare students to work with families of diverse cultures, societies and languages. Students will explore social, cultural and economic issues that shape human behavior and affect current practices in education. Students will examine the influence of these factors on student achievement, family relationships, and educational practices as they relate to the family. Prerequisite: Admission to MAT program or permission of department chairperson. Notes: A grade of "C" or better is required, and this course cannot be taken as S/U. Offered fall, spring, and summer.
