Description: The study of the fundamental concepts and principles of database systems and processing. Several database models are considered with emphasis on the relational model. The student creates, loads, and accesses a database using at least two existing database management systems.
Notes: Offered in fall. Lab fee: $25.
Prerequisites: A grade of C- or better in either CSCI 208 or CSCI 243; grade of C- or better in CSCI 210.
