Description: An introduction to the concepts and methods of constructing the hardware and software of a computer system. The course emphasizes the study of the digital logic components, the microprogramming language that supports a machine language, and exposure to advanced computer architectures.
Prerequisites: Grade of C- or better in MATH 261; and either ASWD major or grade of C- or better in CSCI 208.
