Description: Conduct advanced research in both primary and secondary sources on a specific historical topic and complete a draft of a thesis chapter.

Prerequisites: Permission of a committee comprised of the chair, graduate director, and an additional member of the Department of History; submission of a prospectus and preliminary bibliography approved by that committee.
