Description: History of Germany since the 1850s, including the rise of Bismarck, the unification of Germany, the First World War, Hitler, the Third Reich, the Holocaust, division between East and West in the Cold War, and reunified Germany's present-day dominate role in Europe.
Prerequisite for all 300 and 500 level courses is History: Sophomore status or permission of the Department Chair.
