Description: This course applies concepts and techniques used in geography to investigate nutrition, health, and well-being. It provides introduction to health-related topics, health outcomes, and health care resources from a geographical perspective. Topics include diffusion of disease, human modification of environment and health, inequalities in health outcomes and health care resources, and methods for spatial epidemiology and analysis. Notes: Offered in fall periodically. Prerequisites: Graduate Student Status or permission of instructor.
