Description: Study of major critical approaches to literature including such theories including such theories as formalism, pyschoanalysis, New Historicism, deconstruction, gender studies, disability studies, and postcolonialism. Course also provides instruction and practice in literary research methods.
Notes: Restricted to English majors. Intensive Writing course. Offered in fall and spring.
Prerequisites: Sophomore standing.
