Description: This course will teach all of the basic care skills necessary to be employed as a nursing assistant. Those who successfully complete this course will be eligible to take the South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification exam. The course is taught by York Technical College on behalf of Winthrop University as part of an inter-institutional agreement.
Prerequisite: Students need to complete a Basic Life Support course certified by the American Heart Association before taking BIOL 275.
