ARTE 650 - MFA Teaching Practicum (3:3:4). |
Description: Graduate level course designed to create a framework for pedagogical development in higher education including development of teaching philosophy, syllabi, and course projects. Course projects and discussions will address course preparation, contemporary topics in delivery and evaluation, and classroom teaching experience under the mentorship of a full-time faculty member.
Prerequisite: Restricted to students admitted into the M.F.A. in Studio Art program.
Notes: Projects, Oral Presentations, Portfolio. Offered in spring.
Lab fee: $50.
