Description: This course focuses on clinical breastfeeding care of the mother-infant dyad including challenges for the new mother, pregnancy, labor, and birth complications, breastfeeding initiation, management, and weaning, challenges for breastfeeding premature infants and multiples, and clinical management of breastfeeding issues.
Prerequisite: NUTR 535.
