Description: This course is the study of utilization of plants by people. The content will focus on economic plants; describing the cultural uses of plants, explaining the origin of specific useful plants, and developing strategies for the sustainable use of plant resources.
Prerequisite: BIOL 203, 204, 205, and 206, OR BIOL 220, 221, 222 or 270, and 223 or 271; HMXP 102; CHEM 105; MATH 101, 150, or 151 or any MATH course with a MATH 150 or 151 prerequisite; students must have a minimum grade of C- or S in all of the listed BIOL courses taken and a minimum grade of C- or S in CHEM 105, and a C- in HMXP 102.
