Description: Building on the basis provided in SCWK 602 Social Welfare Policy, this course examines the dynamics of policy development and implementation. The course examines in detail the administrative, legislative, and judicial factors in policy making as well as the role of the social worker and impacts on major social work concerns. Both policy analysis and social work policy practice are covered.
