Description: This course explores the history, theories, processes, and practices behind strategic planning and decision-making in small, medium, and large arts and cultural organizations today. Practical applications will focus on developing concrete strategies and plans for managing arts and cultural organizations, including business plans and organizational development, managing boards, fund-raising, human resources, facilities, program development, community collaborations, and effective evaluation.
Notes: Offered every other year. Restricted to students admitted into the M.A. in Arts Administration program.
