Description: This course examines an emerging paradigm shift in psychology away from an emphasis on pathology to greater consideration of positive aspects of human experience. Positive psychology emphasizes using science to explore optimal human functioning, strengths and virtues, positive coping, well-being and fulfillment in the lives of healthy people.
Prerequisite: PSYC 101.
