MATH 341 - Statistical Methods (3).
Description: A survey of common statistical methods including: data organization and summary; probability & common probability models used in statistical analysis; point estimation, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for one- and two-sample problems; simple linear regression and correlation; introduction to categorical data analysis; use of commercial grade statistical software (e.g., SAS). Notes: Offered in fall. Prerequisites: MATH 105 or MATH 201.
