MATH 303 - Advanced Mathematical Problem Solving (1). |
Description: This course will introduce students to advanced mathematical problem solving techniques. These techniques will be applied in a variety of subject areas ranging from pure to applied mathematics. A special emphasis will be placed on problems requiring conceptual rather than procedural mastery of mathematical ideas.
Prerequisite: Permission of instructor and department chair.
Notes: This course maybe repeated for credit once for each topic.
