A formal treatment of programming language translation and compiler design concepts. Students are required to write a compiler for a small block-structured language.

Prerequisites: CSCI 431. All CSCI courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102.
