Description: An introduction to the government and politics of the nations of the former Soviet Union with particular concentration on Russia. The course will emphasize the enduring political culture of the ex-Soviet space, as well as the relation of these countries to a globalizing world.
Prerequisites: PLSC 205 or 207 or permission of instructor.
