Description: A survey of percussion literature from its earliest antecedents in military and orchestral music through the major genres of the 20th century, including chamber music, percussion and marimba ensembles, and solo genres for timpani, multiple percussion, and keyboard percussion. Notes: Offered in spring. Prerequisites: MUST 306 and 212, or permission of the instructor.
