VCOM 363 - Multimedia Design I (3:1:4).
Description: Focus on the integration, effect, and use of content for interactive media. The development of content using video, text, imagery, and sound will be introduced to enhance the abilities of interactive media designers. Emphasis is placed on understanding processes and planning, as well as use of narrative in sequential media formats. Notes: Lab Fee: $40. Offered in spring. Prerequisites: Passage of VCOM 300 or VCOM 261 and permission of coordinator. All VCOM studios numbered above 300 have a prerequisite of the successful completion of the specialization portfolio review or permission of the Chair of the Department of Design.
