Description: Prepares special education majors to provide leadership in maximizing learning experiences of students with disabilities through effective teaching, curriculum planning, modification, and adaptations of teaching materials and use of technology.
Notes: SPED majors must earn a grade of C or higher and course cannot be taken on a S/U basis. Offered in spring.
Prerequisites: SPED 561, 582 and 583 with a grade of C or better in each. Admission to Teacher Education; or Graduate Status. All courses in the College of Education numbered above 499 have a prerequisite of junior status or permission of the dean of the College of Education.
