SPED 293 - Laboratory Experiences with Learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (3:1:2).
Description: This course is designed to provide teacher candidates enrolled in Mental Disabilities (MD) and Severe Disabilities (SD) certification programs with direct teaching experiences implementing applied behavioral analysis (ABA) procedures with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in home and school settings. Notes: Offered in spring. Course cannot be taken S/U. Special Education majors in the MD/SD program must complete this course with a grade of C or higher. Prerequisites: SPED 281 with a grade of C or higher.
