Description: This course provides an in-depth examination of language as system (phonlogical-orthographic, morphological, semantic, and grammatical cuing systems) with linguistic application to the teaching of minority dialect and second language learners who have limited abilities in processing/applying spoken and written English. The course provides candidates with an understanding of the needs and mono- and multi-lingual as well as multi-dialectual learners.
