Description: This course provides basic understanding of: factors related to literacy; literacy competencies; procedures for developing literacy instruction; and assessment measures for literacy.
Notes: ECED and ELEM majors must take READ 510 as a co-requisite. A grade of C or higher must be earned. Offered in fall, spring and summer.
Prerequisites: Admission to teacher education.
