Description: A calculus-based introductory physics course primarily intended for students in the physical and mathematical sciences. The course covers mechanics, wave motion, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics and some modern physics.
Notes: A student may not receive credit for both PHYS 201 and 211 and for both PHYS 202 and 212. Offered in fall.
Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MATH 201.
