Description: This course is highly recommended for pre-law students as well as those with an interest in public policy issues. We will relate traditional themes of legal philosophy to the live concerns of modern society, covering a series of selections that raise the most important issues. The philosophical issues covered recur in specific problems about liberty, justice, responsibility, and punishment.
