ENTR 473 - Entrepreneurial Finance (3).
This course focuses on acquiring money to finance the startup and growth of a venture. It covers various financing methods and mechanisms available to entrepreneurs such as bootstrapping, angel investors, private placements, venture capital, debt financing, and others. Firm valuation and initial public offerings are also explored. Notes: Offered in spring. Prerequisites: ENTR 373 and ACCT 280. All ENTR courses have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.0 and a C- or better in HMXP 102.
