ENGL 504 - Modern American Poetry (3).
Description: A survey of American poetry of the 20th century with emphasis on major poets such as Pound, Frost, Stevens, Williams, Bishop, Brooks, Rich, and Levertov. Notes: Offered even years in the spring. Prerequisites: ENGL 211 or graduate status. WRIT 101 is a prerequisite for all ENGL courses. HMXP 102 and a previous ENGL course are prerequisites to any 500-level ENGL course.
