Description: A study of the managerial principles, skills organization and operation of early childhood programs including supervision of staff and volunteers and program evaluation. Strategies to establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with families and the community will be devised. Students will learn about the growing opportunities for early childhood professionals in administering early childhood programs operated by corporations, agencies, governments and individuals as an avenue to contributing to a more successful business or service operation.
Notes: Teacher Education students must receive a grade of C or better and may not elect the S/U option. Offered in fall and spring.
