CSDV 600 - Seminar in Professional Identity, Scholarship, and Service (1) |
Description: The seminar will focus on issues related specifically to the development of professional identity in the context of counselor preparation. During this seminar students will examine their own professional awareness, knowledge, and skill sets for successfully negotiating graduate studies including self-reflection, scholarship, and service. The course also covers APA writing standards for professional reports, papers, and presentations. Professional involvement with the American Counseling Association (ACA) and representative state organizations through presentations, publications, or committee membership will be examined and encouraged.
