BIOL 507 - Advanced Environmental Biology (3). |
Description: A comprehensive study of the Central and Peripheral Nervous Systems with emphasis on the gross features of these two systems. Additionally the primary motor and sensory pathways will be studied along with the effects of trauma and disease to these systems and pathways. The laboratory portion of this class will involve dissection of horse and sheep brains, eyes and examination of plastinated specimens.
Notes: Lab Fee: $40. Offered in even spring semesters.
Prerequisites: BIOL 307 or 308 or permission of instructor. A grade of C or better in BIOL 300 is required to enroll in all Biology courses numbered above 300 (except BIOL 303, 304, 307, 308, 323, 461, and 463).
