ARTS 470 - Color Photography (3:7). |
Description: Developing an aesthetic awareness and technical proficiency with the creative potential of color photography, this course concentrates on making prints from color negatives. Color composition, color temperature, the use of filters and flash, are all investigated. The course aims to develop a use of color photography as a means of personal expression, as well as to build skills for working professionally. Students must have a flash for this course.
Notes: Lab Fee: $70. Offered in fall.
Prerequisites: ARTS 101, 120, 201, 371. All ARTS (3:7) numbered above 375 have a prerequisite of junior status and the successful completion of the specialization portfolio review or permission of the Chair of the Department of Fine Arts.
