DIFD 141 - Introduction to Web Application Design (4:3:2). |
This course introduces the basic tools and concepts, involved in developing a substantial web site. Examples of tools include languages such as HTML, Java, and Javascript as well as commercial development tools such as Flash, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. While server side programming will be discussed, the emphasis will be on the client side. Programming concepts include loops and arrays. Students will produce a site that requires developing and managing more than one page.

Prerequisites: CSCI 151; or the combination of CSCI 101, 101A, and 101P; or permission of Instructor.
