The study of different types of programming paradigms and languages associated with the paradigms. Students are introduced to language design and translation.
Prerequisites: C- or better in CSCI 271 and 371. All CSCI courses numbered above 299 have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.00 and a grade of C- or better in HMXP 102.
